If you had to organize a tour of your area of expertise (North Little Rock), what three must-visit places would you hit?
The famous Old Mill at T. R. Pugh Memorial Park, Emerald Park Trail, and Dickey Stephens Park (when the weather is just right).
Describe what you like about your area. Favorite subdivision? Schools? Home design? Parks, museums, landmarks?
Park Hill is my favorite Subdivision in North Little Rock and where we reside right now. I love walking around the neighborhood and looking at the variety of architecture. Very quaint old homes and each one is so different!
What’s your ultimate local meal?
Appetizer - Berry poppyseed salad from The Humble Crumb in Sherwood—this little place is such a treat to visit!
Entree - Shrimp and Grits from Bennetts in Sherwood—everything here is WONDERFUL!
Dessert - Scoop Dog in North Little Rock: Frozen vanilla custard with caramel, bananas, and roasted/salted pecans, of course!
Do you have a nickname?
It’s not really a nickname but it is a fairly new name, “NANA” and I love it, nothing like those grandbabies!
What’s your hidden talent?
Cooking. (Now everyone that knows me knows...that was a JOKE!)
