If you had to organize a tour of your area of expertise, what three must-visit places would you hit?
My areas of expertise are West Little Rock/Midtown and Heights/Hillcrest Neighborhoods. Three must-visit stops include:
Pinnacle Mountain State Park
Two Rivers Park/Murray Lock & Dam
Heights/Hillcrest area - lots of local shops and restaurants
What’s your favorite ethnic-style food? Is there a restaurant in town that does it well?
Chicken Fajitas are my favorite, and Baja Grill has the best around!
What’s your ultimate local meal?
I would start with appetizers from Faded Rose, then move to Scallops from Brave New Restaurant for an entree. Trio’s has a great variety of desserts, so you cannot go wrong with any choice. Always delicious!
If you had to pick a last meal, what would it be?
My last meal would be Scallops, Steak, and Strawberry Cake all from Brave New Restaurant
What do you like to do when you are not working? Or what are your hobbies?
When I am not working, I really enjoy traveling. Always love a good road trip, spending time with family, especially the grandkids. We like to go to the Little Red River, sit on the back porch, and enjoy the river.
What’s your favorite movie of all time? What’s your favorite TV show right now? Favorite sport to watch on TV?
My favorite movie of all time is The Sound of Music.
My favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy.
I love watching the Arkansas Razorbacks play any sport! However, my favorite sport to watch is Soccer.
Favorite travel spot?
We try to go to different places every year. I really enjoyed our trip to Ireland and Scotland—would love to go back and take the Royal Scotsman train through both of the countries!
